Puck worked on unfastening the waistcoat, finding a decent pace to work at. There was no rush, but likewise Puck wasn't going as slowly as she could be. The dialogue was getting noticeably more in line with gothic novels as Puck imagined them. Loki's ability to laugh at it was welcomed. She gasped a little at the focusing on her neck, adjusting her head so Loki had easier access. "Fine, then let that contrast work alongside you."
Puck realized she would make an awful heroine in a gothic novel and quickly bit her lower lip to stop from laughing at it. She wouldn't have spent chapters telling anyone who listened how a vampire had simply introduced themselves into her life- it would have been over as quickly as it had started. But that comedy helped balance the more overwrought words spilling from her and Loki's mouths.
