It was certainly dramatic enough to watch, given Loki was not using his flight abilities or his own magic beyond creating copies and teleporting to confuse his enemies. The telporting might actually be new to Puck, and Loki was doing it in such a way that with his copies it was difficult to keep track of who was the 'real' one. Add to that Loki already fighting less in a head-on-overpower way and more in a sneaky-dancing-dodging type way, and it had to be a show.
Holding up one hand, Loki let it glow green and the targets all stopped at the signal. Then he looked up and around for Puck. "Nothing--they're not that sentient. I get a sting though and a reminder to do better. Hello Puck!"
