Loki smiled and did not protest the hug at all. Quite happy to wrap his arms around Puck in turn. "I honestly wasn't sure what I could get you, besides practical gifts. But hopefully I show you all the time how much you mean to me."

"Practical gifts are always welcomed, honestly. And of course you do." Puck tightened the hug a little for emphasis and then eased back with a smile. "You don't need to hope about doing it."

Loki smiled too, then leaned forward to kiss Puck's forehead, with an impish smile. "I did consider also just wrapping myself in a bow, for you. I'm egotistical enough, but figured you'd laugh more at it in ways that would harm said ego." He was teasing.

"Never, because I like unwrapping my gits." Puck replied smoothly, tone as teasing. He blushed a little at the forehead kiss but then kissed Loki in return on the lips. "But the thought is an entertaining one." Puck quietly filed it away in his mind for the future.

"So I'm hearing 'wear more layers' regularly. Got it." Loki teased back, smiling against Puck's lips and into the kiss. More than content.

"Yes, exactly." Puck confirmed with a snicker. He broke the kiss a moment later and added, "Not during hotter months, obviously."

"For you, I would do so." Loki said with a chuckle and another kiss. "Because I also trust you to not let me overdo it."

Puck hummed against Loki's mouth. "Of course I wouldn't let you overdo it. Please, I'm too attentive to do otherwise." But also Puck just would always take care of his loved ones. "It's part of my charm." He added as he pulled away slightly to wink at Loki playfully.

Loki nuzzled, then kissed Puck's cheek. "It is part of your charm. Especially because it has never been an act, either. Trickster and fae, but you are genuine. Which is how you've taught me and shown me, my Robin." Loki had played and acted before, but with Puck it had all become real and sincere.

"Of course, what other way is there to exist for more than a century?" Not that Puck didn't love tricks and lies by omission, but even those were done with sincerity. He returned the kiss to Loki's opposite cheek with a soft laugh. "But I'm glad you were willing to learn. That's part of what I admire about you." That Loki had been open to even learning in the first place had touched Puck.

Not many could survive letting themselves be genuine. That was part of what Loki also had found strength in from Puck. That he could BE himself, flaws (though very few of those, his ego insisted) and all. Tightening his hug on the other, Loki nuzzled him softly.

"We can easily compliment and admire each other later. Especially if you do want just me, wrapped in a bow."

It was poison to some, that's true. There were probably a lot of philosophers who spent years talking about the nature of self and truth, but Puck wasn't interested in thinking about that for the time being and he hummed a little at the nuzzling.

"I'll keep my schedule free-- and yes, I do. Whatever color you'd like would be fine."
