That, surprises me, dear Robin. That you don't play often. We might have to fix that.

[But Loki wouldn't bully Puck into playing if Puck didn't want to. Loki played often--he'd done so with Alice, and he did so with Kaiba and some others still.]

I'm usually busy, but I won't say no to learning a new game. You might have to just get used to winning for a while.

[Puck's eyes lit up for a second as he chuckled.] It's an enormous thing to ask, I'm sure.

Oh I think you'll surprise me. You're good at that, and it's hard to do.

[Loki chuckled too, then leaned in to kiss Puck's forehead.]

Must be because you're a trickster too. And very good mayhem.

Both of those are true at the same time, yes.

[Puck's cheeks colored a bit, but faded almost as quickly.] I would hope, with as long as I've had to practice at it! [Puck shifted his weight a little and hugged Loki suddenly.] If I wasn't good mayhem, would I still be a trickster? [There was a slight twinge of a headache as Puck remarked,] Oh it's not the time for deep philosophical questions like that. Pretend I didn't ask and I'm instead complimenting your hair for the hundredth time.

[Loki privately adored making Puck blush. He only adored it more if it was when Puck was being Owen. Personal victories, and the fae was very attractive when he blushed. The sudden shift to a hug had Loki wrapping his arms around Puck again, and folding him close in the hug.]

I think I can do that for you. As a favor you know. You really ask so much.

[Affectionate teasing, and Loki nuzzled Puck's hair.]

[It wasn't very hard to do, but Puck wouldn't let Loki know that because it was more fun that way. As Loki nuzzled his hair, Puck laughed.] Oh of course- I just wake up every morning and think of things to ask you for. How do I get anything else done? It's a true mystery for the ages.

[Equally teasing back, and Puck's shoulders shook a little at the idea of doing that.]

[Spoiler for Puck, Loki already knew it was easy. Didn't mean he enjoyed doing it any less. Feeling Puck laugh and hearing it, Loki chuckled too deep in his chest.]

I wonder how you have the energy for it, which could be put to so many better things. Like complimenting my hair again.

[More affectionate teasing, but Loki was quite content right then. A state he wasn't used to being in, but had come to find often with Puck. A very good thing.]

I'm very good at energy management, actually. [Puck joked back- and part of him knew that Loki was aware of how easy it was. Puck didn't try to hide it or play it off as being from the heat, or the weather or any other excuse when he was in his real form.] But another compliment to your hair-- let me think. As soft as cat's fur and as black as a dark sky.
