[This was part of what Loki wanted, and enjoyed, most. Just being close. Content, as he so rarely rarely was. Yet with Puck, Loki didn't feel like he wasn't enough. Didn't feel like he didn't measure up. Knew he was wanted, and valued, for who he was.

He hoped Puck felt all of that in turn from Loki. Fingers continued to brush through white strands, then one hand moved to stroke Puck's cheek.]

[Puck did feel it which besides the love he had for Loki, made Puck want to spend time with him. He knew and didn't doubt that Loki accepted him. He sighed softly as Loki's hand stroked his cheek, and adjusted his own hands to keep playing in Loki's hair.]

It felt like I was drunk, if anything. But you're right, I'm not an idiot. And spending time with loved ones is very light compared to other things I've heard beings do when tired. There was an article about a chef who cooked a complete breakfast and then woke up in the middle of eating it. Can you imagine?
