Loki was hoping Puck was home. If not, he'd just go find wherever the fae was, but home would be easiest. He was curious both if Puck had heard the latest news, and he wanted to show the other something. Yes, it was a bit of preening on Loki's part, but why not? He did genuinely want the other's opinion, even if his outfit was practical too.

So he found himself outside Puck's home, wearing armor, and knocking strongly on the door.

Puck was still playing the role of a homebody for the most part. It was nice to have the free time, even if Puck struggled a bit with finding things to fill the time with. He had heard about the labyrinth opening, but he would make his plans to explore it later. At the strong knock on his door, Puck sat his mug of tea down.

"Coming!" he called before he headed to the door and swung it open, blinking at Loki's sudden visit. He smiled. "Hello, Loki." Puck noticed the armor and looked at Loki in mild confusion.

"What brings you here, besides my good company?"

"Well, I wanted to be certain you'd heard the latest amusing diversion that's happening." Loki replied with a smile that was all charm. "And it's pretty dangerous, or so I've been told, so I thought I'd go prepared and thought you'd like to see." One arm gestured to himself in the armor. "If you'd rather, I can try and locate a horse and ride up--make it more of a cliche."

"The labyrinth being open? Yes, I've heard of it." Puck nodded and looked at Loki, smiling back at the confidence on display. "No, I'd have to remember the right type of thrilling orchestra music to hum while that happened. But you do make a very dashing prince." Puck blinked at the dangerous comment. "Oh? I'll need to prepare myself." He looked at his own outfit. "Hm. But I'll worry about that later. That armor suits you nicely!"

Loki just grinned, then put on a properly neutral-polite expression and bowed in a courtly manner. Holding it for a moment, before coming back up with that grin again that was playful and mischievous. "It's actually designed for winter. Technically what I arrived in, which you also have not seen, is also armor. Though neither are the fancy suit with a matching helm that I wore on Thor's coronation day or when I temporarily ruled Asgard."

But on to some business...

"I've been warned by a few that the Labyrinth is dangerous so I figured best to be prepared, though I'm more worried about a return of the werewolves or shadow wolves. It's why I sought to regain proper armor as opposed to the lighter version I arrived in. And you will be alright, yes?" Because Puck was tricky and clever and smart, but Loki didn't think the other had all of his magic back yet.

Puck clapped a little as Loki bowed. "It does give off that impression." he replied before listening. He gave an assuring nod and grinned.

"I will be, yes. I can run well enough, even without a proper suit to do it in." Saying as much about Owen without mentioning him by name, Puck's eyes shone in playfulness for a moment. "I've got fast reflexes, so I can jump even if I can't fly. If I thought it was dangerous enough to be a threat, I wouldn't be looking forward to going in." He idly stretched.

"To turn the question around, will you? That armor looks sturdy and I know you've got magic, but the concern goes both ways, even with my faith in you."

"Liar." Loki said teasingly, reaching out to brush his hand against Puck's cheek. "Dangerous or not you'd be looking forward to going in anyway." Playfulness in his own eyes, but serious underneat. "I'll be alright. I have some tricks I haven't shown you, and I'm going in with Webby and one of our new arrivals, Jenny. Webby and I have worked together before. Jenny seems eager, but not inexperienced to strangeness even for all that she's an unknown."

"And not a good one, it seems." Puck joked back. "I would be, yes. What's an adventurous spirit without a sense of fun for the unknown?" He nodded at Loki's last statement. "Then it sounds like you have a good team together. I'm planning to just arrive and see who's up for joining me. At worst, I'll go in by myself. At best, I find someone." He grinned at the tricks comment. "Oh? Will I get to see those, or be left to wonder?"

"Perhaps, and you need to learn to be a better liar with me. I've had centuries of practice at it." Loki's smile was genuinely amused and affectionate though. "Take care if you do go alone. I'm kind of fond of you, if you couldn't tell."

"Then I'll just be bad at it, because I've only had a handful. But I do like when you figure it out." Puck gave an affectionate smile back, tone joking. "I had no idea at all, actually. The cuddling and affection didn't make that loud and clear, thank you for spelling it out." Puck bowed a bit and chuckled as he straightened up. "No, but I'll be careful enough. Ready to run if I need to, you have my word."

"I mean, I could just be a very good actor and putting on a show." Loki teased back, but he chuckled at the reassurance too. "Good. I'd say keep out of trouble but we both know that's no fun. So just try to stay unhurt and in one piece, and have fun. I'll be doing the same."

"I'll find roses to scatter at your feet." Puck joked, as he just made a mental note to actually do that. He leaned forward and gave Loki a quick kiss on the cheek. "May our cups run over with it."

"For love of trouble, hmm?" Loki teased back, smiling with the kiss and reaching to grab one of Puck's hands. Bringing it up to kiss the back of it too.

"Or love of a troublemaker." Puck answered smoothly. "Go have a good time, I'm sure I'll be in there soon enough."

"We'll check in with each other later, yes? I'm sure we'll both have stories besides comparing notes. That Labyrinth is one of the major obstacles in our way after all." Another kiss against the back of Puck's hand and Loki let it drop.

"Of course, of course." Puck answered with a grin at the kiss. "Go, before I remember that music I should be humming."

Loki just chuckled and gave a little salute-wave as he turned to go meet Webby and Jenny. Hopefully the Labyrinth would give good stories for both he and Puck to trade later.
