"Quite honestly, this mischief god you've found yourself with is used to being thought of as a nuisance, even though he's actually pretty wonderful." Loki teased back, moving his non-laced together with Puck hand to stroke through the other's white hair. "Certainly, to attract this wonderful and theatrical fae and hold his attention, I must be doing something right."

It was all teasing and affection, but also with layers of truth.

"That's their misfortune, and their loss. You're very wonderful, yes." Puck assured Loki with a hum at the hair stroking. "Is my affection not making it that obvious?" Puck asked as he pulled away from Loki's neck long enough to blink at him in plain, over the top confusion. More teasing, but Puck leaned back in and nuzzled at Loki's neck. "You're also doing more than one thing right, but I'm not going to tell you what those are just yet. Call it my taking some inspiration."

There were some layers, but some plain truths just being shared in return.

"Obvious or not, I will not turn down the affection whether I deserve it or not as well." Loki tilted his head only enough to brush a quick kiss against Puck's cheek before the other moved out of range. "You don't have to try to pique my curiosity by the way. I already find you quite interesting on your own without other inspiration."

"Oh, good, that saves me a speech." Puck replied with a grin at the kiss. "I'm many things, but always consistent. A little inspiration is more for fun than my being worried that I'm not interesting enough." Puck resumed kissing Loki's neck. "Oh? That's good to know, and I'll act on it accordingly. Maybe."

Puck moved one of his hands up to idly trail in the ends of Loki's hair. "Or maybe not, since I'm a trickster as much as you are."

"This is true, you are. I rarely get to meet a good match like you." Loki murmured, leaning into the touch as well as the affection now. Cuddling had been a very good idea.

"Two pieces fitting together nicely. Or two treasures bringing out the radiance in each other, take your pick." Puck joked as he continued to cuddle, letting his hand run through Loki's hair while his other held on with steady assurance. "But for now, I'll just work on treasuring you a bit more."
