The more Puck thought about it, the more he started to realize that it could be an option. But for the time being, it would just stay an idea until it was either needed or requested. Or both.

Puck smiled and took Loki's hand as he stood. "Good. Lead the way."

It wasn't as if Loki didn't know where Puck's bedroom in his house was. Each visited the other fairly regularly, for intimate time and not. So Loki did lead the way, and then paused while turning to Puck. "Should I turn down blankets too? I'm not going anywhere until you tell me it's okay to."

"I can manage it." Puck assured him before doing just that. He shrugged off his tunic and boots, putting both of them up instead of letting them land wherever they wanted this time around and then smiled at Loki. "I don't think I want you to stay overnight, but I don't have a time frame in mind for any of this."

"I am your guest, and I am also here to make sure you're going to be alright, and to just be here for you." Loki said, reaching out to stroke Puck's cheek. then he was removing his own boots, and his over-shirt but otherwise remained dressed.

Puck sighed a little at Loki's hand on his face before he refocused. It was almost as calming as having Loki with him. Moving backwards until he was against the side of the bed, Puck toppled into it with a laugh and motioned for Loki to join him.

"I know you are, and I intend to enjoy and return those sentiments."

There was a small laugh as Puck let himself topple, while Loki moved more sedately and gracefully. Joining the other, and moving in such a way that it was easy for Puck to curl up with him. And for him to curl himself around the other. Nuzzling white hair, and Loki brought a hand up to smooth through it as well. To occasionally brush ear in affection, but mostly against cheek and neck and hair.

"You have before, and I am still so very grateful for it."

Puck made himself comfortable and returned the touches where he was able. Loki made it easy with his own positioning and the physical affection went both ways, Puck's cheeks going slightly red at both Loki's words and actions.

"That means a lot." he said quietly with a smile. "Thank you."

Loki leaned into the touches easily, a bit like a cat from how he was taking up space but draped around and over Puck. Pressing a kiss to his forehead, then speaking very softly. "You mean a lot. In ways I'm still trying to figure out. Thank you, my Robin."

Puck smiled at both Loki leaning into the touches and at the forehead kiss. "You're welcome." he answered before he let one of his hands comb through the top of Loki's head with a light chuckle. "Do you like catnip?" he asked as he figured out what Loki's posture reminded him of suddenly.

"Not the way a cat does, if that's what you're thinking." Loki murmured, still leaning into the touches and sighing. Returning those touches as he could too, and savoring the contact and company. "Would you rather I be a cat?"

"No, you're cute enough as is. Your posture reminded me of one and I was trying to picture you with cat ears for a second." It was, in spite of Loki's own attractiveness, a pretty cute mental image. Puck kept playing with Loki's hair idly and also enjoyed being touched as much as he was enjoying touching. "But I'm glad I know ahead of any ideas I have." he joked.

Loki listened to Pucks' explanation, then gave a sly smile. It wasn't that difficult, just took a little bit more concentration as his eyes glowed green for a moment. Soon enough he had black cat ears amidst his hair; a very partial transformation rather than a full shape-shift.

Pulling back enough for Puck to see them, even if it meant no cuddles for the moment. Smirking too, before chuckling and then his eyes were glowing green once more. This time for a full shape-shift, of a dark colored large cat with long fur. Not so large at the big cats of Africa or Asia, but larger than a house-cat. The long fur being part of the breed, as it was suited for a winter climate.

Only then did Loki turn blue-green eyes up to Puck, and crawl back in to cuddle against him.

Puck noticed the smile and tilted his head slightly at Loki's eyes lighting up. Once Loki had pulled back to show off the cat ears he was sporting, Puck's eyes widened. Somehow, though up until then Puck didn't think it possible, the cat ears somehow made Loki cuter. He did look a little put out at the lack of cuddling for the moment but then spoke in a mock pout, "Why does that suit you so well? It's almost unfair."

After Loki just went ahead and transformed into a cat, decorum was absolutely thrown aside. Puck liked all animals and didn't show favoritism towards any specific type, but even he was amused by cats once in a while. They could be entertaining little things and Xanatos had given Puck some good natured ribbing about it once he found out; before making a very large and private donation to a struggling shelter in Manhattan.

Puck didn't shriek in happiness or anything, but once Loki was comfortable Puck quickly moved to scratch behind his ears. "Point proven, but it's still unfair. At least a little. I can only pet you for so long, you realize?" Puck was determined to work through any arm cramps that might spring up. "You look like you should be directing adventurers towards a hidden treasure."

Loki, as the large cat, leaned into that petting and purred. Making sure to butt his head and cheeks against Puck's own, and winding around him playfully. There was also some low chuffle-noises that were clearly laughter, at the last comment. He let himself enjoy this bit of mischief for a bit, before moving to get some space once more.

Only so he could shapeshift back without being on top of the fae. From a cat sitting up regally, to Loki sitting on the bed with an unapologetic smile and look. "I'm surprised you haven't been a cat before."

The chuffing sounds caused Puck to laugh in turn, caught off guard. It really was a test for Puck to not simply hug this enormous cat, but Loki kind of managed it by winding around him for a few minutes.

After Loki shifted back into being a human, Puck shook his head as he answered; "No, never! Only myself and Owen. Never an animal. I only look like I can spend my day napping on a giant pillow, being fed treats and getting more attention than I know what to do with. Quite the difference from your demonstration."

"I have had a few more centuries of practice than you." Loki teased, reaching out to twine his hand with Puck's. "Or perhaps some of it is the royalty showing through. Cats have their own regalness often." Another soft chuckle.

"Maybe that should be something I request in future. For you to test your own shapeshifting against the animal kingdom."

"At being cute? That's not something I'll argue." Puck answered with an equal tease as their hands laced together. "They do, some of them act like every human exists to serve. It's kind of charming."

Puck blinked at the last comment. "Oh? Like a challenge on what animals I can become? I'd need a potion for that. Or are you just wanting me to act like more of an animal? I can pretend to do that well enough." With a grin, Puck raised his head and spoke in a very haughty tone. "Yes, I'll take all of the treats and your finest cat nip, thank you."

Loki chuckled again, and leaned in to kiss Puck's cheek. "Whatever is more fun for you, though I am genuinely surprised you haven't played with that aspect of shapeshifting. Then again, much as you think I'm cute, I suspect I wouldn't be able to handle your sweetness as an animal."

"You would probably need to find a dentist." Puck agreed with a snicker before he returned the kiss. "I usually just don't see a need to play with it, honestly. Having the two forms is enough for most things. For the rest, I have my other magic and my wits. All of it's served me well so far." He stretched his free arm for a moment, letting his fingers curl in towards his palm like a paw.

"Hm.. I don't know, I think paws would be a problem. How would I hold things?"

"With some practice and difficulty." Loki replied in an entirely serious tone, as if it wasn't a joke. Which it was, as he moved to let himself lay by Puck and cuddle against him one more. "I don't do animals often, really. But they can come in handy."

Puck smiled at the advice and gave a very sage nod. "Training, then. If it comes to it." Uncurling his hand with a chuckle, Puck went back to cuddling Loki, letting his hand trail through his hair idly. "You mean besides being used as a way to get more affection?" Puck asked in a surprised tone, meeting Loki's own humor with some of his own.

Once more, Loki leaned into the hair touches and cuddling. Perfectly content to return the favors too, and just trying to let himself relax. To feel safe, and loved, and happy. With this amazing being who matched him.

"People often overlook animals. They can go places a human-shaped being can't, as well." They were fun to be used when pranking, too. On others, not on the animals themselves.

"That's true, a cat or a dog running down an alleyway won't be looked at twice. A well dressed businessman or a trickster would at least get a few glances." Puck usually didn't run as Owen, except for a few specific times when fighting was involved. Most people likewise didn't expect a businessman to know how to execute a right hook, let alone to do it well.

"But that could just be my ego talking, who can say?" Puck joked with a shrug as the cuddling kept happening. He rested against Loki. "I'd make a horrible animal, I think."

"And yet, like me, you're already very cat-like in so many ways." Loki chuckled. "Perhaps it's because cats are natural tricksters. Although I'm more often associated with snakes." Loki murmured, leaning in to nuzzle where he could while still getting his hair played with.

"Another fan of milk and naps in the sun, I knew my intuition was right." Puck laughed at the nuzzling. "Ah, and nuzzling- I can't say I've seen snakes do that. Either way they're both cute in their own ways." Puck was fine to keep playing with Loki's hair, idly curling some of it around his fingers and then letting it slip free.

"You're still cuter, though."
